This week I’ve been working on a video to show you guys how I bathe my baby. It’s my first time trying to make a video, but luckily I’ve had Lemon helping me out. We’re shooting with my Canon 700D and he’s handling all the audio stuff and music since he’s a musician.
At first, we shot the whole thing using only the lights that were already in the room we were shooting in. Usually some old yellow ceiling spots. The results were not great.
Since neither of us have much experience with lighting for a film, we asked a Greek friend of ours who does film for a living for some advice. He suggested that for a budget solution, we could buy some bright white LED bulbs and stick them in a couple of cheap chinese lantern style floor lamps from IKEA. The difference was huge. It might not be professional looking, but for a cheap “home made” solution I think it turned out pretty good.
The video should be out next week. Also, if you didn’t see it yet, check out the post I wrote on the birth of Viktor.
